DLPTXRX + DIYPNP = ?

Post by thebrelon »

Hi,

are there any work in progress to get the DLP-TXRX internal USB / serial adapter to work with microsquirt in general and with DIYPNP kits in particular?
I've read that it's not yet fully reliable with MS II, but is it just possible to get it to work with µS?

on another hand, and by curiosity, are there any plan to do anything like µS with MS III?

thanks :D

I wouldn't recommend trying it - it would require removing the module's existing serial chip and a bit of soldering to SMD pads. See this link for a better approach:

thanks for the head up.

will consider doing that, and see if the "keep it simple" will prevail...
