Lost communication after bootlogger upload

Yesterday i attempted to config my new Mircosquirt on a v-twin motorobike, but when i tried to connect megatune to the unit via a USB adaptor the following happened:

The first connection showed a mismatch of the versions ie the megatune was looking for a later version than the code on the unit, so Matt from DIYAuto provided a code upgrade and some instuction on how to upgrade the megatune files and the code on the unit.

I followed the instructions and upgrade the megatune and got the bootlogger to work and uploaded the files to the unit but as soon as that was complete i was no longer able to communicate with the unit in std run mode. I tried for hours to get it to re-connect ( it had been connected before doing the bootlogger code upgrade )

I have run the port check app and it just say no valid ports available.

I also uninstalled the USB adaptor driver and re-installed, it appears to be working ok before and after re-install, i checked the comm ports and all seems to be running ok, i checked the baud rates and they are correct for mircosquirt

I have looked at the port again using the downloader app and the signature check looks the same as when i did the code upgrade. I have not tried to upload the new code again as i don't know if there are any negative side effects, but maybe it will communicate in bootlogger mode and not std run mode? It stopped worked immidiately after uploading the new code.

Can anyone help? Pleeeeaaaassseeee!!!!!

Problem Solved - thanks to Matt at DIYautotune

Rebooted laptop, only started port check applic , found port valid port again then opened downloader, set ECU in Bootloader mode and reloaded the 2.890 code.

Closed downloader
power down ECU

Powerup ecu in std run mode

start megatune 2.25 and it automatically connected
