I am adapting a Yamaha four cylinder EFI bike to a MicroSquirt, and wondered if it possible to use the FIdle port for something else, I was thinking of driving a stepper motor power valve via a relay, which would cut in at a certain rpm, and go full travel later.
The bike has a water temperature based lever mechanism that increases the idle stop position of the throttle bodies when cold, that closes as it gets warm and upto temperature.
I know there are a couple of LED outputs I might be able to use from another post, but being a noobie to this I have more questions than answers.
If nobody replies, it's not the end of the world, I could always wait for the Sequencer.
Any news on the latter.
