V8: Fuel Rails system diagram HELP

Post by 65looter »

I think, I might know the answer to all my troubles (putting aside the rpm mini spikes....)

I believe I have connected my fuel rail the wrong way, hence the fuel issue while driving, me think.

Here's a diagram of my actual fuel lines:

Here's a diagram of what it should be:

according to http://www.mass-floefi.com/PICTURES/FOR ... oseNEW.jpg

you can see, this is not a Vincent van Gogh painting, but paint is good enough for me :)
Is there someone that could confirm my findings?

cheers.

Either way should be fine. There is really no functional difference except you'll probably have more balanced flow with the first picture.

If your fuel pressure regulator has two inlet ports, you might as well use them both. Is your fuel pressure OK?

65looter,
This is what I did, you will find the XL diagram and component rating and a usefull link :
http://www.kinsler.com/
forget about the girl (pretty) on the cover page, download their catalog and read from page 71 and on.

If you want I have a pix of my own parallel injector feeder plumbing. The intermediate tank is a RCI all aluminium. To set some pump pressure you will need a pressure gage.

Bye
