Everything is starting to get there!
Thank you very much for your help!! I now have the truck idling decent, starting decent and running without popping in the exhaust.
I set everything as you had suggested and used the ve table evaluator in megalog viewer. I think this has me fairly close to where a need to be.
the only issue I still have left is that when I blip the throttle, it goes lean for a split second. The ve editor in megalog viewer wants this area to be as high as 138. According to the mega manual, the ve table values should never get this high.
I was thinking that maybe I need to increase the fuel pressure or possibly move up to bigger injectors to correct this problem.
I have included my msq file - datalog would not load in post
Again, thanks!!!!
You notice that your 600 and 1100 rpms (looking up) as the MAP rises.
When you blip it shoots straight up. I would make the 600 and 1100 rpms all identical upwards.
ex. 65 MPA 600 rpm is 33 and 1100 is 55
The VE diffenrece between the 600 rpm and 1100 rpm really start to separate as you go up the MAP at this point. So in some cases when you blip it is probably extrapolating from the 600 rpm cell and making it go lean.
So for the 65 MAP I would make both the 600 and 1100 rpm cells 55....
and so on.... Try and taper it as you go up as well.
Hope that makes sense.
