Help needed with a 7MGE-T
I have:
Toyota 7MGE straight six, 24 tooth VR wheel in the dizzy as well as a 1 tooth wheel below that with two other VR sensors which i hadn't planned on using, stock coil wired up for direct control. stepper IAC motor, stock IAT and CLT sensors, injectors wired up 1,3,5 & 2,4,6. I think thats all
I haven't done any cutting on the 24 tooth wheel yet. i saw where a few guys had turned the 24 tooth cam sensor off a 7MGTE into
(2) 12-1 wheels and planed on following suit. any ideas?

I was going to cut off two teeth on opposite sides and have what would appear to the MS as a 12-1 crank wheel. will that work? does it matter which teeth i cut off as long as they are on opposite sides?

12 teeth,4 skip teeth, 1 missing tooth and 11 delay teeth. It did backfire once loud enough to scare the crap out of me and might have sputtered a few other times.
It seems to me that the 2nd missing tooth coming around just after #1TDC is screwing up the sync. I think i might have messed up by cutting off two opposite teeth. anyone have any ideas?
