MsII not read LC-1 Value correctly and then Died help??

Post by Jonas N »

Hi

Have LC-1 And MSII V2.2 board.

I have done the free air calibrate and it seems to work fine.
Warmup works and led light steady when its ready to opperate.

I use the 2 anlog output with the 470 ohm resistor. If i messure the voltage i have 5 V out from the LC-1 in the free air. When i read in Ms it only shows a ARF at 17.7 in the free air. I want 20.0:1 in free air. What can be wrong. If i look in the file that been generate from the calibration i see that 17.7:1 is about 4 Voltage so way do i get 17.7:1 when i hvae 5 V into MS board? i have done the ARF calibration and use the inovate 0-5 V Calibration setting
Have also use the LogWorks that come with LC-1 and it works fine.

Then i think i should look in the LC-1 with the LM-programmer if anything was wrong in the settings on the analog output 2. But it seem to be allright.

After that the analog output 2 never work anymore. 0 Voltage all the time. And i cant get it to work. What did i do wrong. Anyone have the same problem with death output.?

And how can i calibrate ms to read the value 5V to get ARF 20:1 in MSII

Please someone how have you connect and adjust settings to get it work good with the MSII

I think i'm having the same problem but i didn't use the resistor, if you figure it out let me know

Thanx

I know that mine read differently, but then I reprogrammed the analog out. It needs to be something like 10:1 = 0V and 20:1 = 5V (or is it the other way around?) The default is a similar but different range. Then I did the sensor calibrate in MT, selecting the LC-1 and then all my readings in MT matched those in the Logworks software.

Sorry that I don't remember the exact numbers, but what MT expects is not the default setting of Analog out 2, which is what I originally thought.

Today i get the LC-1 Programmer software to work and i program a
0V 10:1 and 5V 20:1

Re callibrate the AFR in Mega Tune 0-5 Voltage and 10-20 AFR

Then just for check it i program LC-1 to put out a linear voltage just for be abel to read the AFR in mega tune and get this values.

0v 10:1 Corect value should be 10:1
1v 11.9:1 Corect value should be 12:1
2v 13.9:1 Corect value should be 14:1
2.5v 14.9:1 Corect value should be 15:1
3v 15.8:1 Corect value should be 16:1
4v 17:1 Corect value should be 18:1
4.5v 17.4:1 Corect value should be 19:1
5v 17.7 Corect value should be 20:1

how is it possible that i get corect values from 0-3 Voltage and 4-5 voltage is not even close?

Have messure with Multimeter direct on out put from the LC-1 And on the
board in Ms and i have exaktly the same voltage i program the LC-1.

So whay didn't Ms understand and show the right AFR value.
Have also look into the generate file from the AFR calibration and it's are
from 0V 10:1 AFR To 5V 20:1 AFR

I use 470 Ohm resistor and MSII V2.2 board.

anyone have the same problem?

Thanks Jonas
