Laptop crashes after first startup of Megatune...
Anyone knows what this could be? 256 mb memory should be enough?

256 MB is way more than enough for MegaTune.
Are you seeing the error described here: http://www.msefi.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=19757 ?
If not, can you post the exact error.
Lance.

You can try running Megatune in one of the compatibility modes - you can choose from Win98 through to WinME. You do this by right clicking on the icon and choose the compatibility tab.
Also, there might be an 'exceptions' list in your anti-virus software (check the WinXP secutity setting as well), and you might add MegaTune to that.

I got it work, it tryed the compatibility mode, but the normal operating system (no compatibility) and after that you get a screen, and i chose "No Visual Themes" that seemed to do the trick!
I have set all settings to "Classic Windows" and for best performance, and now it seems to run fine...
