fuel pressure and hot petrol
got my 20vt running in my mk1 golf gti but have a problem with heating fuel could it be the k-jet fuel pump and accumilator is to much for the engine or do i need another fpr just before the filter the fuel rail has a standard fpr and i have all the right returns to the tank
any ideas would a digifant pump be better?? [/i]

I have a pump from a 2.8i Capri (mech fuel injection) and unless I'm forgetting, it is the same model as used on the 2.9 Granada (efi.)
If you can find the part number of the pump 0 580 xxx yyy that would establish what it is. If the pump is getting hot it suggests a blockage somewhere. You should only need a single FPR.
Be sure that when the pump runs the fuel is circulating back to the tank via the return line.

its weird as soon as the fuel warms the car runs lumpy and the fuel pressure drops of
im guesing on a run it would stay cool ?? or will it have the same effect
yes at last
petrol gauge works
intank pump doesnt
3 wire plug on sender
brown-earth
red-black-fuel gauge this does have a 12v switch live with ignition
red-yellow-pump this doesnt yet could i take the 12v relay live from my main pump to this one its controlled by the fuel pump relay
i can find both fuel pump live wires and join the dead one to the live one under the carpet some where not at the fuse box as this means hassle
the only thing thats concerning me is the intank pump has a smaller gauge wire
