I run MS2 with EDIS4. My engine is generally running well but the tacho is very intermitent. From about 4000 rpm onwards it springs into life but just as it does the engine becomes unhappy with detonation and missing. It is very clear that the precise instant that the tacho jumps off zero something goes wrong. Sometimes it does not come to life at all and the engine stays happy. I just cant see the connection between the IDM output and timing or engine running in any way.
Anyone else had this problem?
I have the tacho fed from the IDM output of the edis module, not the 3 diode fix.
