Surging

Post by 16FW »

I get bad surging after the engine has been running awhile. The attached log was done with vehicle in "drive".

360ci dodge engine, auto transmission, in gear, brake applied, at idle.

MS-I , Megatune 2.25

What would make the rpm appear to spike so high? It can't run that fast full throttle in neutral :-)

16FW,

Is this a V2.2 or V3 main board? Do you have the Dave Cap installed (C30 on a V3 board)?

Lance.

It is a V2.2 board. I just ran down to Radio Shack and got a .22 mfd cap. They only had 50v ones. I put it in, and it seems to have helped. Since it only showed up after driving awhile, I will wait for a few more trips to mark this as "solved".

Thanks Lance.
