Knock sensing

Post by jonfx4com »

Can someone take a look over my knock sensing setup.

I'm using KnockSense which has a 5v o/p with no knock dropping to 0v when a knock is detected.

The default of "no knock above 70KPA" seems weird as I would be hard pushed to get it to knock below 70KPA which is into over run territory. Or am I misunderstanding the meaning of this parameter.

That looks odd to me too. Maybe it is a typo and it should read "No Knock Below MAP (kPa) " If you are using my KnocksenseMS you can test it by rotating the Threshold pot until the knock indicating LED turns on. At that time the Tim ( timing retard output) should go low.
