AFR Readings In Gear Way Off????

Post by mopower98rt »

As soon as I drop into gear I am leaning out badley. If I run it through the RPM's and drive it the AFR readings are ok. I have tried adjusting enrichments and the VE table and nothing seems to be working. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm fighting the same issue. What I found was my TPS v/s needed a lot of work. When I slam the gas the v/s maxes out at 75. This was nowhere near the default setting of 200. So I went back and made my top v/s bin 70 and worked from there. You may want to slam your pedal a few times to see what you can get it to spike to and compare that to the settings you are using now. I guess every throttle position sensor is different in this respect.

Especially the part with decel fuel cut in the Accel Enrichment Wizard and the overrun fuel settings. 8)

I will try to look at the TPS v/s tonight and find out if that is my same problem or not. It makes some sense. Thanks bluetrepidation.
