MS2 rpm output
First, the motor is going to be a nissan rb25det straight 6. the chassis is a 89 nissan 240sx coupe. basically my first question is if i were to use the ford edis system, would the ms2 be able to send a modified tach signal to the stock 240sx cluster since the engine is a 6 cyl and the cluster is made for a 4 cyl?
Also, i know that the ms2 is open source and highly customizable, is there any way to control boost using a cheap solenoid?
Another thing i wanted to find out about was how do most of you handle the ignition side of things regarding knock/detonation. is there a 3rd party knock sensor kinda like a wideband 02 sensor, or do you do things using a stock knock sensor? basically i would want the ms2 to pull back timing if experiencing knock.
Right now this is all i can thing of as its 3:10 am and im about researched out for the night. i appreciate all replys and hopefully i won't get flamed too bad, i know im a newbie and all but man is it hard to find a straight answer. Thanks in advance

and then choose Embedded code on the left hand pane. From there you can download the entire source code and there are links to compilers and development environments.
