Where is custom CLT sensor data stored?

Post by Philip Lochner »

I used "Calibrate Thermistor tables" to calibrate the OEM CLT sensor in MS-2. Then I threw the piece of paper on which I wrote the resistance values at the 3 temps away :oops

Is this data stored in the MSQ file or any other file where I can recover it from?
Kind regards
Philip

Look for a file called something like cltfactor.inc . I've never done the calibration, but that is the file that is loaded when the program is first installed.

Philip/Al,

I believe the temp sensor info is stored on MS-II itself, which reports the temp, not the ADC (since MT doesn't have to do a conversion, it doesn't need a look-up table). Note that this is different than MS-I.

The temp data is not stored in the MSQ file (the temp sensor data would be 1024 lines).

However, when MT generates a new thermistor table, it copies the input and output to 'thermistor.log' in your project folder (but doesn't read it after that). So try looking in that file, you can open it with notepad.

Thanks a lot. I found the 'thermistor.log' file and it also logs the 3 temp and resistance values I used to calibrate CLT sensor. For the Jaguar I've calibrated BOTH CLT and MAT sensors. Gutfeel told me to change the filename of the 'thermistor.log' file after I calibrated the CLT sensor and then I did the MAT sensor. I suspected that the 'thermistor.log' file for the CLT sensor would be overwritten when I did the MAT sensor.
Kind regards
