AFR table for aircooled?

Post by jkeyzer »

Hello,

I have been following Megasquirt for years but have only recently been able to actually get a system installed in my car. It is a 1972 Porsche 914 with a 1.7L type IV aircooled flat 4 engine.

I just upgraded to MSII and I have a couple questions.

Is there an AFR table available that is oriented towards aircooled engines (AFR target ~13.5 cruise, 12-12.5 WOT if I am not mistaken)? Comments on desired AFR for aircooled are welcome as well.

Second part to that question - is there an AFR table generator available? Entering 12x12 tables by hand is tedious to say the least. :) In general how should AFR vary vs. RPM and vacuum?

If I have made the newbie mistake of not using the search function properly please bear with me! :D

Attached is my AFR table for my 914-4. I set cruise at 13.2 to keep head temps in check. You probably could go leaner near idle, my cam forces me to have it a bit fat. Top end is set to 12.5
