Up and running, have a few issues.

Post by amd is the best »

Finally yesterday I got the car up and running but I have come up with a few issues. Its on a 1990 Ford Probe GT, and I am running MS v2.2 running 029l code.

1st. The car will idle but if you rev it up or let off the gas while driving (car in neutral), anything above 1500 the rpm's will drop and it will just stall out. If I drive it and leave it in gear until it hits ~1500 and then push in the clutch, it will idle. Any ideas?

2nd. When turning on any large accessory, it will idle very low. For example, when I have the headlights and fog lights on, and the rear defroster the car will idle at ~500. I'm sure this is a common thing and possibly an easy fix?

3rd. When it does idle, it seems to be searching (fluctuating) between ~750 and 1000.

Thanks in advance, Nick

Please post a logfile, and also tell us what cpu, PCB and code you're running.

Probably you just need to tune the VE map some more. ANd don't expect great throttle response until you have AE set up.
