Whilst meaning to do good, this MIGHT not be a good idea.Â
Â
I still have my MS2 only doing ignition (no FI as yet), so everything I do (and say) at this stage only relates to ignition timing. Let me explain.
Â
If someone implemented ignition control with the MS2 , and if you should make RPM lag factor 100 (and the installer does not change this), it may result in wildly fluctuating rpm values WHILE CRANKING. This could in turn result in wildly fluctuating timing results WHILE cranking which could result in VERY difficult starting.
Â
As it is, my car definitely does not start as well WITH MS2 as before but I have not been able to find the exact cause. As I've only implemented timing my conclusion is that the difficult starting MUST relate to timing issues during cranking. The fact that "LAst interval" seems to be the only "useable" algorithm, I am left with a "gutfeel" that perhaps there are still some timing issues during cranking.
Â
In my humble opinion, the current default lag factors are good. (In my case I had CHANGED my AFR lag factor to 10% long before installing the WBO and had then forgotten about it.)

Kind regards

Lance,
I've set the upper limit on all the lag factors to 100%, this will appear sometime soon in the MT 2.25 patch with a bunch of other little tweaks.
