Controlling boost

Post by Spoolin420a »

I recently got my MS v 2.2.

I am learning a lot about it and am very new to stand alone EMS.
I have a 99 Eclipse N/A with turbo and had a member of 2gnt build me the ms 2.2 system with 2gnt mods fuel/spark. I believe I heard that you can control boost with the system. Could any one direct me in the right direction so I can learn more about this. Thanks for any help

The MSnS-E code can do boost control. http://megasquirt.sourceforge.net/extra/index.html.

I use it on my car, and while I could not get closed-loop to work quite right, open loop works great. You will need hardware mods, as well as a boost solenoid if your car does not have one.

coolness. That helps alot. Im wondering if you can set it up like a dual stage boost controller with something along the lines of a toggle switch.
