Dave cap installed....

Post by bryant »

Dave cap installed, seems to run a whole lot better but still seem to have a few spikes and resets.

Have a look...

the Dave cap is in and things are a bit better. I am still getting spikes and resets, tho it starts better, revs pretty smooth, idles at 1200 and drives a little. Until I cure these spikes tho, it is really hard to tune.

Today I will attempt to get a trigger off my MSD6 box's tach adaptor signal. Hopefully that is cleaner. Someone suggested that my unilite Dizzy is at fault buy I am not enuf of an expert to figger that one out.

if not, the next step seems to be to ground the optoisolator thru to a shielded tach signal wire, but I am unsure how to wire this with the Dave cap installed. Does the jumper get cut @ xg1?
