PWM idle issues

i have a "searching idle" issue that i have lessened with tuning, however i cant get it to stop. sometimes it will die at stopsigns and stuff.

is there a way to increase idle speed? im sitting at like 500 and i would like it to be around 750. i cant find a spot to change it. i did at one time, however i cant find where i did it now.

should i just tune the throttle blade with a screwdriver and use the pwm idle valve for warm up enrichment, and idle speed bump up?

What do your VE table and timing maps look like around the idle point? If they aren't flat, then neither will your idle.

What type of engine is this on, and are you controlling timing? What I did on my 2.3 was put a depression in the timing map where I expected the engine to idle. In my case that was at about 900 rpm, and 30 kpa. Just below that (I put a point at 800 rpm), I increased the timing to about 21 degrees (the dip was 15 degress). I then tuned my throttle plate to give me a 900 rpm idle warm. I have the pwm tables set to give about a 50% duty cycle when cold, tapering to 100% warm (yours may work reverse of this). This effectively only uses the pwm idle valve for warmup. It now idles better than it ever thought of with the factory ecu. You have to blend the idle dip into the rest of the curve quickly, but smooth, or it will die on throttle application, or be too "responsive" (if the timing is fed back over aggressively).
