ya i had the accel enrichments to high i backed them off .2ms and its fine now. now i'm just tunning everything else, i only got 900 more miles till my motors broke in :)

Any Successful GM DIS's?

Does anyone have a GM DIS successfully installed on their car??? If so how easy was it to install and configure?

Can you log this behavior? That will help tremendously. In the meantime, you can try decreasing the threshholds for MAP and TPS taking care to watch for false triggering at cruise. Changing the balance of each may help as well. You can't hurt anything by experimenting - make small changes of one ...

Throttle Response Problem

I'm getting some hesitation when I press the pedal from cruising (1800-2200RPM) but its fine once it get going. I have my accel stuff set up based off 50/50 MAP/TPS. What values do I adjust to smooth things out???

Is there any way to put in IAC counts higher than my start value? My IAC is to far out and setting the step size to the starting value doesn't close my IAC. Since I have a stepper motor IAC I can not move the screw by hand. I need to figure out how to completely close the IAC so I can reset the ...

i pulled out the iac and check to see which way the iac moves when i turn the key to on and it does move to wide open so the wiring is correct. i'm going to play around with the start counts and see whats happens.

wel the bigger the starting count the higher the rpm goes. i know its the iac cause when i put my thumb over the iac hole in the TB the rpms drop to around 800. i think i'm going to try a very small starting count and see what that does. i have a 2x58mm LT1 TB on my little 6 cyl so i'm sure the iac ...

Thanks mike , it was something simple. I'm still breakin in my motor so between the oil and extremly rich mixture killed my plugs. I got some cheapo plugs in right now until i break in the motor somemore.

I also put the good IAC back in a tested to make sure I had it wired correctly and my idle ...
