Look on ebay for a fuel pump off a Peugeot Jetforce scooter. These are small fuel pumps that will be okay for a 200cc engine.

Other sources include some of the Honda scooters. They're all 'intank' pumps, so you'll either need a swirl pot or a modified fuel tank to incorporate them.

For an injector ...

Well they vary, but most pumps of that output won't be any longer than 4", with a range between 3-4", and a diameter somewhere between 1-2". Most of the pumps will be the kind that fit inside tanks, as this is the direction most OEMS have been going in for some time.

You may find older ...

Well if current draw isn't such an issue, then just go to a scrappy and pick out any pump from a small hatchback.

It doesn't matter if it flows a little more, the excess will return back to the tank.

Why are you sceptical about the aprilia unit?

It's ideal in terms of power consumption (about 1A)

The unit I have for my Isetta EFI project is from a Peugeot Jetforce 125.

It's a rotary vane pump of Siemens/Synerject origin, and draws about 24 watts at 12 volts, which is on the upper end of what ...

High RPM starter motor

Ah really, I must have missed that. That's sounds useful. I am running MSNS-E, as I need mapped ignition too. Please could you give me a clue as to how this is set-up, or point me to the right information? thanks Andy

High RPM starter motor

Hello,

The engine I am converting has a high RPM starter motor (direct drive 1200 RPM).

I'm concerned that this will affect the cranking and afterstart enrichments.

Has anyone had a similar problem, or can suggest a workaround.

Thanks

Yes I'm afraid most pumps are geared towards intank fitment.

You have a couple of choices there- modify the assembly to fit your tank, or make a seperate tank for the fuel pump.

Don't forget the pressure regulator will regulate the flow according to what is required to maintain 3 bar at the ...

Why don't you just get a fuel pump from a modern fuel injected bike. Plenty of them on ebay for not a lot of beans, and will only draw a couple of amps at the most.
