I checked the interwrite value and changed it from 1 to 5 and it make any difference why does it comunicate on the doctor program?

Hello Srvblue00 last week I have done the same thing gone from 2.16 code to2.25 code and I can get it to comunicate on 2.25 doctor but thats it I thought it might be some thing to do with windows xp pro but I don't know I have listed my question as comms error.

I have ms 2.2 and have been running 2.16 code and I want to change to ignition control so I down loaded 2.25 code ,But if I run 2.25 doctor it comunicates fine but if I try to run 2.25 code there is no comunication with any comm port connection
