I would check out your fuel first. You want to run in the 13 range for your AFR. If you run too rich, you will loose power. Your AFR will affect the results that you get from changing your timing.

If you are pinging, retard your timing at WOT. What is your max advance at WOT? What AFR are you aiming for at WOT?

If you can find a machine shop with a CNC, they could cut one for you pretty easily. They are not difficult to make at all.

The problem with doing this is that ford edis can run independently of megasquirt. The 36-1 wheel pattern is read by the ford edis module first and not MS. Megasquirt only takes the modified signal from the EDIS module for engine speed. Unless you can figure out how to modify the 60-2 wheel signal ...

I am trying to figure out whether or not my EDIS-6 module is bad or not. I checked my ford VR sensor with a multi-meter and the needle bounced up and down like I would expect it to. When I checked the PIP output signal to MS it read 12V, but it won't trigger when I crank the engine. As I understand ...
