So you say the maf use the inertia of the air meter to increase shortly the pluse width. This means that the delay of the MAP is not the reason for the need of AE, because the MAF by construction as no delay.

Another suggestion to control LPG system by MS - use a dual table code like MSnS-E, and feed the signal from the switch to the table-switching input of your choice on MS. That way you can easily use different VE tables for different fuels.

AFR table generator perhaps?

I believe it wouldn't be hard to do, it might use a slightly modified VE generator because it would be based on max torque and max power areas and calculate the rest in a similar fashion. Probably some stuff should be entered, like desired AFR's in idle and cruise areas.

Or maybe it could be ...
