What are the Pro's and Con's with using this setting, and where exactly is it. Thanks!use 'trigger rise' for the 'Cranking trigger' setting. This essentially causes the module to behave the same as if the byapass were connected, but MegaSquirt-II is still involved.

megasquirt controled bypass pin
Yes, but Al mentioned yesterday that he is working on some code that would allow you to use the Megasquirt to control the "bypass" pin and therefore eliminate the relay. As a guess this code will likely be out within a week or two.
