How do you get the LC-1 to display its A/F via serial? I cant see anything in the program/config util that come with it and the other program wont connect to it?

As for your Q: did you config MT's file and did you also set it to WideBand within the program?
Did you also config the LC-1 to be ...

But more importantly I am a victim of not reading directions closely enough. The megamanual clearly states that PWM sensors must be set under the PWM dutycycle menu and NOT the Idle Control menu.

Trivial:
I guess the MS-II is different there then for the menus?
I'm using MSnS-E and the ...

I dont think you can test these on the bench as they need to be pressurised closed (when the engine is running, they naturally get sucked closed then the ECU opens it.).

Perhaps a vacuum cleaner could provide the vacuum needed?

I know what you mean with the Ford valve though. All info I find is ...

I have a feeling that MegaTune is setup wrong.

It happened the other day to someone I was walking through, it would connect and read ok, but when writing to the MS, it would give page errors and such, 'til I realised that MegaTune was set for the wrong Firmware.
Reconfigured MT and voila!

I 'scoped the MS today, before realising the MAP sensor was disconnected (so it was fueling as if it were WOT).
Didn't have much time, but the readings were just everywhere!
Ignition off seems to pickup a clean saw wave, so theres a little interference getting at the scope somewhere. With EEC-IV ...

The waveform above is true EEC-IV output. The picture is from a diagnostic manual, but when I scoped the EEC-IV, the waveform was identicle to that image.
I watched the 'scope at idle (engine warmed up to running temp), when the fan kicked in, the idle settled, but the frequency stayed the same ...

Hey Keith, I've attached the readings from the scope if they make sense.

The frequency appears constant at all times, so I guess the amplitude changes to adjust the valve opening.
Is that how the MS code works?

Hey Keith.

I'll try to get something tonight or Friday.

I've bought an o-scope, so I'll also scope the valve when controlled by the stock ecu (then try understand what it means ).
So if were still at a loss, that might prove useful?
