Re: MAF Analyzer

Oops, my mistake. I meant that I divided by 1000 to move three decimal places. Also, I want to use "10*mg/sec" as the output units, correct?

Re: MAF Analyzer

I used the table that is on the MAFMAP page. It is as follows:

Code: Select all

0.5V 1480
1.0V 6560
1.5V 17510
2.0V 36260
2.5V 66260
3.0V 125660
3.5V 188550
4.0V 291120
4.5V 427450
5.0V 605990
I divided by 3 to get g/s to mg/s

Re: MAF Analyzer

I'm getting ready to use the Infiniti Q45 sensor in my car. I used the MAF analyzer program and input the data from the MAFMAP page. The data that the program gives is very different from the included Infiniti .inc file. Could some elaborate as to why the differences exist, and which one I should be ...

Re: multiple O2 sensors.

You should still be able to use both. EGO2 could be on ADC6 and MAF would be on ADC7.

Re: Extra teeth only at specific RPM

I have done some testing on my sensor/setup over the weekend. I hooked my scope to the vr input of the Microsquirt and measured my signal. The wave looks clean above and below 3000 rpm. Right at 3000 rpm, I get a small hump in the missing tooth that is causing the false trigger. Changing the sensor ...

Re: Extra teeth only at specific RPM

Thanks for the replies. I have tried a different sensor. The first one that I used was the VR sensor from a Subaru. With that sensor, I only had a problem during deceleration from the engine redline. All other speeds were fine. What would the difference be in the two sensors that would cause the ...

Re: Extra teeth only at specific RPM

Here is a snippet of the problem. It counts up pretty quickly, but I do not get any resets and I can't notice it in the car.

Extra teeth only at specific RPM

Hi,

I am running a Microsquirt V2 with the latest firmware. My engine is a 4 cylinder wasted spark with a 36-1 wheel and a Ford VR sensor. The problem that I am having is that the uS is receiving extra teeth (fairly rapidly) only at ~3200 RPM. Either above or below that speed the trigger signal is ...

I don't see why it can't make about 100hp with a decent powerband. I would still try something more than the "euro" cam. Just not too much more than that. Cam timing makes a big difference where the engine will actually make power. I keep mine a little advanced to make around town driving very nice ...
