There were a few of them, but this is the only one I still have. Hopefully it will help.

I have read the manual and I still do not understand these initial cranking settings. They always speak in terms of pulsewidths, not rich and lean which is what I understand. They do not say which way to go from the default settings to make it richer or leaner.

Have you read this?

Since it sounds like you're just getting it up and running for the first time, you may want to verify all fuel related settings, especially req_fuel. If all of the settings are ok, then I would do as newtyres1 suggested and adjust your VE values in the idle range.

Can you datalog the process so we ...

Does this gego look normal?

I was told in another thread that my gego looked funky. Can anyone comment on what might be the cause, or if it is indeed unusual looking? Evidently gego should produce more of a gradual stair step pattern instead of the quickly oscillating pattern shown below.

Anyone doing individual throttle bodies (ITBs) successfully?

I've read a lot of posts in which people indicate tuning ITBs is difficult for a variety of reasons. Before I venture down that path, I wanted to get a feel for how many folks have successfully implemented ITBs and are happy with the results.

Thanks,
Robert

Idle Advance Question

Hi everyone, I’ve been fine tuning my ignition advance at idle to see if I can improve idle stability and smoothness. I started with 16 degrees since that was what I had my distribution set at before switching to EDIS. The idle was stable but wasn’t as smooth as I’d like (some misfiring, etc ...

Any idea of shipping to the US (Zip code 90815)? I like that the DCOE flanges are one piece, but I'm afraid that shipping and the pound-to-dollar exchange rate is going to make it too expensive.

Thanks,
Robert

Ignition Input Capture Angle

(MS-II, V 3.0 PCB, EDIS)

Can anyone explain why changing the ignition input capture angle from Falling Edge to Rising Edge would eliminate a mid-RPM hesitation?

Does this suggest that my VR sensor is wired incorrectly?

If it is wired incorrectly, is there any harm in just leaving it like that ...

Thanks Eliot, I think I'm going to do something similar in Visio to accurately add graduations directly to my crank pulley. Thanks for the idea!

Unfortunately, after posting my success message above, I realized that I was still having some hesitation issues. In the process of just trying random ...

Ahhhhhhhh!!!!! Problem solved! Thanks Lance!!!

It turns out my only problem was that my trigger offset was off by 10 deg because of the wasted spark timing light conundrum.

Question:
* Is it OK to just double the values on a dial-back timing light? For example, if I'm trying to set the idle ...
