Neil,

portCheck.exe will poll all the comm ports on your computer for any MegaSquirt/MicroSquirts that might be connected, and report the code version of any MS devices it finds. So try that:

I have installed a microsquirt in a westfield and I cant get tuner studio to detect the ecu,i have 2 other vehicles running megasquirts and I can connect to them without problems I have tried a computer with a serial port to eliminate the serial to usb adapter and still wont detect I have set the ...

No, my post wasn't right. I corrected my post while you were posting your reply. I have fixed the manual as well.
thanks for the reply just read the amended manual and yes it now makes sense,innovate just need to do the same with there lc2 manual as it tells you to earth it direct to the unit it ...

Neil,

The wide band controller is a relatively high power device, and not really just a sensor like a TPS or temperature sensor. It needs its own separate ground. You should ground the wide band sensor controller to the same spot on the engine that MicroSquirt is grounded to, using its own a ...

just installing microsquirt v3 and have some conflicting info regarding pin18 2nd sensor ground, on the pin data it says pin18 is in addition to pin 20 for those who require it,however under injector wiring it says the the main grounds are on pins 18 22and23.and further on under HIGH POWER GROUNDS ...
