That is a really good point actually - forgot that the code will allow a 'block' of all knocks above a certain rev limit, this may cure my issue.

In terms of how well it works, not really sure - I haven't tried to make the car knock yet to test the device, I'm a bit scared to to be honest!

Any ...

Knock sensor and knocksense

Hi All

I've got a knocksense unit installed and hooked upto my MS but currently I've got knocksensing disabled as I'm having trouble actually getting the sensitivity right on it.

I've got a ford zetec engine on individual throttle bodies and even when I set the sensitivity really low I still get a ...

Tuning Decel AE

Hi All

Now getting onto the finer bits of my tuning and I've been playing with the Decel %age AE.

I did have set to 70percent and then dropped it to 50%, but now I've got it set to 80% as when at 50% the car drove like a pig when coming off the throttle...

Anyone got any views on the best way to ...

Getting best base VE map

Great - thanks. Out of interest how long (in time) were your log file sessions that you fed back into the VE Analyser and how did you structure your driving? Was it certain revs held for a certain time at a certain throttle position/map etc? Or was it simply nice, varied driving ...

Getting best base VE map

Hi all

My car is running pretty well now, however because I use a wideband and have EGO active I wondered what the best approach is to fine tune the base VE map now as when I do a datalog then run it through MSLogViewer it doesn't change that much, however EGO is still making -15 to +15 adjustments ...

I'm currently using my LM-1 hooked up to my MS for the initial tuning stage then am swapping to an LC-1 when finished.

Works a treat
