I've just come out to the car, i haven't changed anything with the computer or the car since earlier, and on my first attempt at connecting with megasquirt everything worked. I have no idea why i wouldn't connect for the last few days especialy as i haven't changed ...

Hi Lance, these are the results i got:

1. set ecu type to 2 (microsquirt)
2. fully connected all cables and sockets
3. port seems to work fine, done a loopback test without any problems at all and thepin numbers match on both connectors

Hi, i've just finished installing microsquirt in to my car, i've got Port Checker and Tuner Studio installed, but for the life of me, i can not get microsquirt to talk with my laptop.
