Re: Comms Issues -with log
I sent the uS to Matt and he diagnosed it as an internal CPU fault where it was stuck in bootloader mode.
The Board was replaced under warranty with a V2 mainboard. Now I have no problems.
Big thankyou to Matt and the Folks at DIY autotune for excellent ...

What do you think of the chances / costs of repair or should I be looking at a replacement?

Comms Issues -with log
I have been having trouble connecting to the microsquirt V1 that I have.
2 years ago I used it on a motorbike (since sold) and it was working fine when I removed it. Stored it in a dry box since then. Now powering it up on the bench I get strange connection issues.
I am using a HP laptop with ...

Knock sensing Code Update request
I am looking to try out the knock sensing algorithum on my motorbike. However the current settings only allow for <6000 RPM in the knock threshold table. And < 10000 RPM in the settings menu.
Can this be reset to something higher (15000 RPM?) My bike revs to 13500 RPM. Searching on the web I ...

Re: So, how many teeth do I really need?
So if I get this right you have changed from dual tach inputs to a 8-1 tooth wheel.
So you only now have a SINGLE VR input. Disconnect the 2nd VR sensor.
You need to set to single crank wheel and pick the VR circuit that gives you the smallest -ve trigger offset. Otherwise use delay teeth to ...

Re: V Twin Ignition Woes
I tried 4 delay teeth first but this required an offset of +10deg. It looked ok but to be safe I used 5 delay teeth and -35deg.
Dwell on both cylinders is correct (and the same within 0.5ms) all the way to 13000Rpm.
I took it for a test ride and it felt good, the same as ...
