Re: Ignition Advance not changing with MAP sensor readings

That did it. It's working like it should right now. Thanks for the help. Keep up the great work.

Re: Ignition Advance not changing with MAP sensor readings

I thought that was the problem too, and I reentered them already once, but the ignition map just reverted back to the way it looks.

However, I will try one more time creating the vex file from scratch. I will let you know how it goes. Thanks.

Re: Idling but problems with spark at high RPM

Aliga,

Is your advance table too aggressive (to advanced) at 3500-4000 rpm? What happens after 4000 rpm? Usually, the advance table tapers off to a level number around 3500.

Good luck.

Ignition Advance not changing with MAP sensor readings

Does anyone know why, my ignition advance is only being calculated from the topmost row in the advance table? The little green highlighted bar moves right and left when RPM changes, but it doesn't move up and down with the MAP changes. As a result, I am getting the advance curve for 20kPa all the ...

Signs of Life

Matt, i've wired up everything including the Pertronix ignition as instructed in your previous responses.

Here's my problem. I crank the motor, and it wants to start but seems to be getting no spark. I know the timing isn't spot on, but I tried so many settings and offsets, I should have hit ...

Using one Coolant Sensor for Gauge and uSquirt

Does anyone know how to wire up the same sensor so that it feeds the Temp gauge on the dash and the uSquirt at the same time?

The Temp gauge uses a 10V reference, while the uSquirt only uses 5V.

Ok Matt, thanks for the help.

I was just building part of my wiring harness, and now I know which leads I will need to wire and which ones I don't.

I will be starting with running only the coil with microsquirt. And when that is working well, I will then get my fuel running.

Clarification

I guess, it is unclear to me in the wiring diagram for microsquirt whether I will need to use the OPTOIN+/- wires at pins 30 and 31 or the Ignition Outputs at pins 11 and 12.

Thanks.
