Today I tried changing my req fuel, and now the car runs much better. Unfortunately, I changed my req fuel from 15.8 to 22.6 (roughly 21lbs/hr to 14 lbs/hr). I have vr6 injectors, which flow about 215cc/min ~ 21lbs/hr.
This is all with the base VE and Spark maps from the vortex threads.
Only thing ...

I have accel enrich enabled, MAP based. After it's warmed up, it accels normally, no sputtering/hesitation.

I have a narrowband 02 sensor.

Haven't checked my plugs in a while, but I don't think it's running rich/fouling plugs.

I am controlling timing as well.

I've been thinking try a fresh ...

Having trouble tuning: high idle VE, strange Datalogs

I have a 91 VW Jetta 2.0l 16v running MSNS -e fuel and spark on a V2.2 board.
I've been trying to get my start up better, but keep running into problems. I need to set my warm up to something crazy like 170-200% at 130deg F to be able to roll on the throttle smoothly. If I set it to something normal ...

My engine has stock cams, and other people running MS on their VWs idle around 35-45. Just seems like something is off.

Idle kpa around 50, what could be the problem?

I have a 2.0L 16v VW Jetta. Right now, it idles around 50kpa. I would think vacuum leak, but when driving, and I let off the gas, it can drop to 15-20kpa. Any ideas what might be wrong? I need to get this sorted, then I can start fine tuning the rest. (warmups and ase are really bad right now).
Any ...

I think your supposed ot have fixed angle at 10 degrees. and use the 0 mark on the flywheel as that is top dead center. That is what I did and the car runs fine.

You probably used an advance timing light set to 10 degrees. I didn't have an advance light, and since I've never used a timing light ...

I've been messing with the settings some, and the car warms up a little better. I was wondering what typical settings other people have? I'm finding my wue is something close to 120% even at 140. I need to recalibrate my clt sensor, as it does not seem to be very accurate, so this would cause ...

Setting up cranking settings, ASE and WUE

Drove home today for the first time in long while. My idle kpa was fluctuating around 45-50, so I think something is still off there. Also, it stalls when I come to a stop if I don't feather the gas and sort of ease into the lower rpms. The ase and wue are way off, but once it's warmed up and ...

Did I set up my distributor and spark settings correctly?

the car is a 1991 vw Jetta, with a 2.0l 16v engine. It has a distributor with a 4 window wheel. To set the base ignition timing, I got the car running, set the trigger angle in megatune to 60deg, with no additions, and my fixed angle to 6 deg. There is a mark on the flywheel at tdc, and 6 deg btdc ...
