I really appreciate the reply! I did figured it out. I ended up trigger off the magento and changing the constants to 2 cylinder. works great now!

thanks, i guess i was not understanding how it worked. so the 100= 100% warmed up, I thought it was like +100% adding fuel so it could warmup. thanks for the help, should make a big difference. :RTFM:

cannot get #'s to stick in warmup wizard

MSII 2.34/mt225 V3

as the title says, i cannot get the numbers to stick in the 160* box, all other boxes work....? (it stays at 100)

Cannot figure out how trigger MSII

SPECS:

Single cylinder, 4 stroke

magneto w/ autometer tach adapter pn#9118 gives about double RPM (current and best signal)

VR sensor w/ 1 tooth trigger wheel gives 30-40k rpm

MSII code 2.35

megatune 2.25

v3 board

setup for hall sensor


TRIED:

Everything i could search, besides the gm 7 ...

K, this is what I got.

MSII V3 board, 2.34s19

Single cylinder, four stroke

Using VR - Tachsel input

Same result with hall input

With Autometer magneto signal converter, I get RPM 4 times of actual RPM. The Autometer converter connects to the coil, NOT the magneto. (which would make sense b/c ...

Anybody try autometer Part# 9118, for triggering MSII?

i bought one the other day, i'll post results. It does give a strong clean signal I noticed.

dealing with electronic noise

Just something that came to mind and i haven't read on the site anywhere, was that people experiecing alot of "noise" should try, resistor spark plugs.

just my 2cents
