Accel flikering on runtime at idle

I have never been happy with my idle quality. it tends to surge a little, 700 to 1000 rpm. At first I thought my injectors were a little too big for my motor, and were causing the idle surge. It acts like I cant get it lean enough. My motor is a Volvo B20 with a ported head and an IPD torque cam bored 30 over with 4 24 lb injectors running with a Datsun 280z fuel psi reg.
Today, while looking at the runtime display, I noticed the accel light flikering with the surge of the idle. This is happening with no throtle movement at all.
Any ideas?

TPS or MAP based accel enrichment? Did you try increasing the V/s threshold so the accel enrichment is less sensitive? What does a datalog show?

Thanks for the direction. I'll look into it. I'm still learning.
Thanks
