Cranking state

Hi there,

ive been playing around theses days with the dual tach input settings to try and control spark on my bike. Used to run fuel only via "the trigger off a negative side of coil".

i have microsquirt V3 and trigger setup is one teeth on crank for 2 vr sensor 180 deg apart from each other , just like old yamaha or suzuki bikes.

My cranking rpm is around 220 with a nice tach count and 0 trigger count
i checked with my scope and i do get an output signal of 5v on IGN1 and IGN2 but nothing controlling Inj1 and Inj2...

Checked my datalog , and saw that whenever i crank the cranking light doesnt come up , like if MS didnt know i was cranking.
I tried bypassing the issue by lowering the max cranking rpm setting in tunerstudio way below my 220 cranking rpm to check if it will inject something but It didnt work.

Then i have enabled auto-trigger and the bike started but unstable, datalog showed that when i cranked with auto-trigger on , rpm was unstable but it recognized i was cranking and started injecting , and a negative trigger count started to accumulate but still the bike was able to idle with the stock TCI unit controlling spark.

if i disable again auto-trigger i get a better rpm signal but no cranking signal and no Injection but ignition output works.

What makes MS recognise you are cranking and starts injecting?
Why Ignitions output works while injector output doesnt if they are trigger by the same sensor?

Here s a tachref of the 2 vr sensor, datalog and msq if anybody can help

The MicroSquirt "thinks" it's firing the injectors. Do they fire in output test mode?

They ' ll probably fire in injector test mode cause if i enable auto-trigger i get injection and i m able to start the bike but its very hard to start that way
cause cranking rpm is jumping around from 200 to 700.

i just did the injector test mode this morning and they do work but now i m stuck in this mode , i will have to reflash MS to get out of it.
