Coil on plug driver for v3.0

I have a denso 129700-4510 coil from a CBR600RR('08ish vintage) that I want to run on the single cylinder 94 suzuki dr350 I am injecting. From the info I gathered, I need to run some sort of IGBT to drive the coil, but aside from that I have no idea what I need to do.
The information supplied for the v3.0 microsquirt seems to be lacking any info for setting up a coil on plug driver for electrically challenged folks like me. Its great at selling the LS1/2 coil near plugs, but I would love to see a schematic. Searching BIP373 show little for the v3.0...

I did order a pair of the BIP373 from diyautotune.com when I purchased the microsquirt a few weeks ago.

Can I get away without the supplied 330 ohm resistor?

What do I need to do to set the output correctly in the software?

Since the coils are 2 wire, there is no ignitor present, so I am guessing I have to set dwell etc on the software? I am not sure if I am correctly describing things, but do I need to account for any "latency" present in the BIP373 when setting this sort of thing?

If I source a replacement terminal for the AMPSEAL connector, can I replace the unusually heavy gauge IGN OUT wire since I am driving the BIP373 at logic level? Seems to be a carryover in harnesses from previous versions that I was surprised to see.

I do plan to pot the BIP in a small enclosure with a tiny heatsink, so that it will be water resistant for use in the dirtbike environment. Am I asking for trouble?

I guess I am not asking the question properly:

How can I drive a single coil on the v.30 microsquirt? I am interested in building a small external(eventually potted) ignition module and have the bip373. the engine is intially going to be M-N wheel without a second input(no cam sensor) and its single cylinder, and the referenced below doc states I need to tie outputs 1 & 2 together?

Since tying the pair of outputs together at the ignition module would be easiest, can someone suggest a schematic to do that, and incorporate the bip373

The useasydocs http://www.useasydocs.com/details/dualspark.htm link mentions a vb921 coil driver, but why is that mentioned on v3 documentation? Its missing from the newest version correct?

I am completely baffled by this aspect, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

A lot of good information on MSing single cylinder bikes.

One question, what have you got against using an LS1 coil. Every thing you need in a package that is about the same size as a motorcycle coil.

I've read through that thread with close attention paid to all sorts of aspects. Lots of which I am shamelessly copying...

I was hoping to drive a coil that required less current draw in comparison to the LS1/2 series... With the charging system of the DR350 good for maybe 175W, a coil that didnt draw too much amperage at higher rpm is desired.

cruiserbrett you could just use a car ignition driver, they use junior timer connectors, and as you're only using a single coil, virtually anything will be sufficient. I bought one off fleaBay, but I needed four channels, so ended up using a VW/Audi part for my GTS1000, Thunderace stuff, but tied the outputs together to drive the two coils wasted spark.

I find contradictory information in the MicroSquirt V3 literature regarding the IGN OUT1/2 capabilities . in one place, it clearly states that the Ignition output is "Logic Level".
"Your V3 MicroSquirt® controller can only supply a logic-level output. It will not directly control a coil, for example.

What this means is that the V3 MicroSquirt® will provide a 0-5 volt signal output of low current which is then used to trigger an external driver module. The MicroSquirt® documentation outlines several driver modules that can be used and how to hook them up. You can also use external BIP-373 drivers on your own board to drive the coils. The new ignition coils with the built-in igniters (like the LS1/LS2 coils) work great and really make the installation robust and easy."
In another place (the Dual Spark documentation for the newer V3 version, it shows a 7.5 Amp coil directly connected to the MS IGNOUT connection. My only guess is that this document was edited from an earlier version.
I went to the diyautotune site and checked the MS description. it clearly states:
"•Logic level ignition outputs only - coil drivers have been removed."
So I also bought a couple Bosch 124 Igniter modules to drive my dual 3-Ohm Dynatek coil. If I didn't already have the coil and mounting bracket for my Harley, I'd go with the GM LS1 or LS2 coil mentioned in the MS QuickStart guide.
