Alpha N (again)

I have looked through all of the topics about alpha n..
i just need to clarify a couple of things if i can..
do you use the normal ve table...as this becomes throttle position. if so do you leave the 6x6 table blank.
i see that you concentrate on the lower throttle positions, and make bigger jumps over half throttle..is the right ?
my bike isnt running yet, but i would like to have this sorted in my own head first
thanks gary

Not sure if you have had a reply to this or not, but do please look at the post further up about AlphaN on a two stroke. Ian's suggestions were very helpful. You DO need to set the 6x6 map for throttle position into a linear ramp as per Ian's suggestions - you also need to change the Alpha/N v.s. MAP priority in the appropriate drop down, this should then make your TPS effectivey act as the MAP input. The main VE table then works as usual with the TPS being used as pointer to 'look up' the apropriate bin on the VE table
There are a couple of things to watch, firstly, Logworks doesn't appear to see the converted MAP signal in the data since the conversion is done inside the Squit! This makes the transition from no throttle to throttle a bit tricky, and I am still rather lumpy on very very light throttle openings. I would also suggest that you make all of the bins on VE, ignition advance and mixture strength the same - same revs and same MAP - it makes tuning much easier.
I have an Innovate LC1 WB O2 sensor fitted and this makes tunign with Logworks really easy.
