Motorcycle fuel pump sources?

Hi all,
I would appreciate any suggestions you have as to good (and hopefully not too expensive) fuel pumps for motorcycle applications. Most of the pumps I'm finding are car applications and draw 12 - 14 amps (my alternator is only rated for 14A)!
In searching I found that Delphi makes a pump they call T-11, which only draws 1.4A, but I haven't yet found a source for this one.
There is a guy on eBay that has some Bosch pumps for Harley's. I would imagine these would be a good fit... any experience with them?
Thanks,
Paul

More questions for you.
Are you going to put it in the tank? Are you going to mod an existing one from a breakers?
If former something like this will do, draws 5A or so, but look on eBay or similar for a Xref. AC Delco do some kits with filters, Honda Accord, Hyundai Elantra for example, expect to pay upwards of $49 + P&P if you are lucky. More for the kits, incuding filter plug connector etc.

It might be easier modding an existing unit from a breaker, as it will have all the support brackets, but depends on your tank design.
I think I'd prefer to mount it externally, but can do either

By "not too expensive" I was thinking of things more reasonably priced than the $550 S&S pump kit.
At this point I'm moving forwards with a Bosch pump that's designed for HD Road Kings. I couldn't get current draw specs on it, but I'm hoping that since it's made for a MC it will be a bit easier on the electrical system than the car ones. It ran me $89 + S/H from eBay.
For pumps from Hyundai, Honda, etc, I've got a great you-pull-it salvage yard nearby. I could get any of those pumps there for about $10.
I just wish I knew here to get one of these

The Honda Rincon 680 ATV external fuel pump is a good choose. It draws about 1-1.5 amps, and includes a surge tank, fuel filter and integrated 43 psi pressure regulator. Part number 16700-HN8-A62, it goes for about $110-150.

off eBay. It was about $90 + S&H, new. When I got the pump, it looked just like the one in the picture, but was signed SAAB. It's a Bosch in-tank pump. Draws 2 to 5 amps depending on load. It seems a light enough load for my alternator, but I haven't yet made final measurements while the bike's running. I'll post them when I do.
