Mircro Squirt triggering, help needed!!

Hi guys!
I was reading through the Mircro Squirt manuals and checking the wiring schematic. I couldn't find how the uS was triggered.
I'm planning to install Micro Squirt on my motorbike (Yamaha Vmax, 4 pick-up coils, 4 coils, 1-3-2-4 firing sequence, odd fire). I'll just use Micro Squirt for fuel.
Mega Squirt is triggered via the coil's negative. What about micro squirt?
Thanks for your help.

The MicroSquirt has an "Opto In" very similar to a standard MegaSquirt. It's not covered that well yet in the docs being so new (well - not released quite yet!), but I assume it would be wired up the same, and the VR1+ and VR2+ inputs connected to ground. (Best to wait for more info).

Have a look at Neils V max I think that he may have the ignition side of things going or his listing in the sucess stories under motorcycles

Thanks for your answers. I'll wait until the release. Can't wait, but looks kinda scary to figure out how to setup all the parameters (constants, VE table, etc).

Mitch,
I know that the ignition trigger on the Vision and the Max is an AC wave. The pickups are a coil and they generate when the steel bar on the flywheel passes by. With the Vision we could set polarity of the trigger signal to match what needs to be used in the uS. I think ignition and FI should be done with the uS just to give us the tunability that the stock ignition doesn't have. Do the VMax ignitions have 4 pickups?

Hi Coil,
Up to 1989, the Vmax has an analog ingnition unit and 4 pickup coils. From 1990, it upgraded to digital and 1 pickup coil. I have an early 1986 model.
