I got the car running ok-ish with fuel only.
I can start it almost everytime now, without having to crank to much.
the VE table is getting there....

How long do you have to wait until you move to fuel and spark?

I would suggest you wait until the car is driveable and/or you have the acceleration enrichment tuned. Once you have added spark it is difficult to know if the problem should be fixed with fuel or spark.
