The MegaSquirt Project has experienced explosive growth other the years, with hundreds of new MS installations occurring every week - a phenomenal success! MegaSquirt has been successfully used in all aspects of Internal Combustion engine applications including R&D, Industry, Race, and Research. The MS project has transformed itself from a simple R&D project into a full-featured mature engine control system. To reflect this the support structure has also changed to meet the needs of MegaSquirt Users.
Moving forward, the R&D forums for MegaSquirt project are in a read-only mode - no new forum posts are accepted.

Feel free to search the forums for information, facts, and overview.While the R&D forum traffic has slowed in recent years, this is not at all a reflection of Megasquirt users, which continue to grow year after year. I`m buying a ms2 v3.0 EFI
I got an bmw engine type. M30B102.
This engine`s got a Bosch motronic ignition system, with two sensors on the flywheel. One for crankposition and one for RPM
Can this system be used with the MS2 Efi???
And what parts will i eventually need to get it working
I have the same system in my 944 turbo. Unfortunately MS2 can't do a dual wheel decode until the router board comes out. Though you can set your car up to use MS2 for fueling only. The other option is attaching another trigger wheel and sensor from a system that has been proven with megasquirt.
Another member has converted his ignition to use ford EDIS. If you use the newer code you can use almost any "missing tooth" trigger wheel. Check the wiring and sensor forum for more information about sensors and wheels.
