Which injector is better: single or multiple pinholes?

I bought a set of bosch 315cc injectors. They are a Ford Motorsport application. When I look at the end, they have a single pintle design which looks like it will spray a nice even cone. Other injectors I have seen or used have, rather than a visible pintle, a little plate in the end with two or four pinholes. What is the advantage of each? I am running a 4 cylinder 16v VW motor. The individual intake ports split into two channels, one for each intake valve, and have a dividing wall between the two. From what I've read, an injector with two pinholes pointed at each of these channels is ideal. Is there a problem with running a single cone?
Thanks.
Thanks.
