Just building my engine and trying to get My MS install correct. (Spec: Race spec Rover V8 4.6 with serpentine front end, MS'n'EDIS, Megaview)

My engine runs a number of things such as engein driven air compressor, engien driven hydraulic winches, engine driven hyrdraulic steering. I also have a very very low first gear- about .5mph/ 1000rpm.

What i want to be able to do is flick a switch on the dashboard and raise the idle to 1200rpm so that i can pootle around in low first and not stall when all the engein driven components come on.

how do i do it with MS?

Don't know if you could do it without rewriting some code on the MS, but if you had a way to mount a fast idle solenoid or dashpot-type solenoid, you could do it with the flick of a switch.
I personally use a bicycle shifter mounted to my transmission shifer (right below the knob) as a hand throttle. It also lets me pull up to higher RPM's to climb a really rocky hill without my foot bouncing on the gas pedal.

You could always hook the switch to a fidle directly.
