low impedance injectors

Post by Dave Sloan »

I have just read that hte microsquirt will only run 1 low impedance injector per bank, for bikes with 4 low imp injectors is it possible to run resistors or a flyback board with 2 low imp injectors per bank?
Thanks

Hi Dave,

The drivers on MicroSquirt will current limit at 5 amps, so you would need to run series resistance with each injector in order to keep the overall current draw below 5 amps per bank. So if you were using two injectors per bank the injector resistance plus the series resistance should be below 2.5 amps per each injector branch.
