MicroSquirt Tach Out

The schematics on the MicroSquirt web site show the Tachout line (connector pin 35) as just the opto/VR tachIC signal inverted. Will the production MicroSquirt Tachout line be wired this way? I was planning to use a multi-tooth wheel and hall sensor with MicroSquirt to drive 2 wasted spark coils and 4 injectors. A 36-1 or even 12-1 wheel will provide too many pulses for my 4 cylinder tach!

what kind of 4-cyl are u running, car or bike?

I am running a megasquirt using MSnS extra on a car. I plan to convert another car to microsquirt.
