Barometric Correction - Initial MAP? None?

Hey folks,
I'm setting up the basics of mt msq file and I want to make sure that I understand each option!

I did a search and didn't come up with an answer to the basic question- should I turn baro correction on to "initial map read" or set it to "none"?

I'm running a mostly street car, full exhaust, and a turbo. What the heck does this setting do? Correct fuel based on altitude?

cheers!

Nick,

Baro correction samples the ambient (outside) air pressure when MegaSquirt first starts up, and uses it to compensate the fuelling for the effect of reduced or increased pressure on the exhaust.

It is helpful if you drive in mountainous areas. However, it can be a problem if you are having resets while the engine is running (in which case the running MAP is used as baro, and the baro correction is wrong by a very large margin),

If it were mine, I would set baro correction to 'initial MAP reading', but turn it off if you find you are having resets.

Lance.
